And what do you suggest they do? Act as if nothing has happened, let people book on flights that will, in all likelihood not happen, and then cancel everything and rebook everyone at the last minute? Surely it is far more sensible to anticipate what is most likely to happen than shut our eyes, put our fingers in our ears and sing "la-la-la, don't want to know" and then, on 1st of April say: "blimey, I never saw that coming. Better start thinking about rebooking everybody."
