I would add BA use 3- (and 2-)digit flight numbers for their own flights at LHR and 4-digit flight numbers when using their code on other airlines.
Other examples:
BA1*** AA
BA5*** EI
BA6*** AY
BA73** QF

Trivia:
At LGW, I see BA2*** for BA flights and 6*** and 7*** for codeshares.

Remember when BA consumed BCal and used the former ex-BR 3-digit flight numbers by adding a 3(?) at the beginning, making BA3***(?)? (It's a long time ago and I can't remember if it really was a 3. They're BA2*** now, anyway.)
