Hmmmmm, this is bad news. I was helping a friend redeem AC miles about a month ago, for travel during northern hemisphere summer, and I couldn't find any SFO or LAX availability, though YVR was reasonably easy to find.

When we flew LAX-AKL just before christmas there was relatively good last-minute availability on the 773 (given that it's an inherently busy time). Since then, things do seem to have dried up. On the other hand, I've noticed before now that there have been periods when all NZ premium availability across the Pacific seems to vanish, then all of a sudden it comes back. Hopefully this is just a temporary glitch...
