I feared the "hype" about EC would outstrip reality. It is a regular coach seat with slightly more leg room. That is the only expectation you should have. I read here about getting "upgraded" to EC and had to laugh. 99% of the flying public could not tell the difference if they looked quickly. The free booze is a nice touch but there should be no illusion: EC = Coach.
