Strike to start tomorrow

Just when you thought you were in the clear...

The Histadrut (Israel Labor Federation) has decided to go ahead with a strike after the High Court injunction against it was removed last week.

If the strike isn't called off at the last minute, here's what will be affected:
  • TLV airport - will be closed from 06:00-12:00, though emergency flights will be allowed to land. It will operate at other hours, and will open early (04:00). LY will push a bunch of flights up to get them out before 06:00. CONTACT YOUR AIRLINE FOR UP TO DATE INFORMATION!
  • Seaports: Haifa, Eilat, and Ashdod will all be closed
  • Train - will be on strike
  • Buses - at least Egged and Dan, the 2 largest bus companies, WILL RUN NORMALLY!
  • Banks - staff at the following banks will be on strike: Leumi, Hapoalim, Mizrachi-Tefachot, Beinleumi, Discount, Mercantile, Mahesh, Yahav, Massad, Idud, Igud, Arab Israel, Makhish, and Otzer Hachayl

Bunch of other culture centers (such as Israel Museum,) companies (such as Electric Company,) offices (such as the Post Office) will also be on strike.

Here's the Jerusalem Post article Who will strike and what services will be affected
