Most (if not all) bankcards cannot be reopened without reapplying and being re-approved. The card will appear on your credit report as a new card even if you had that same card previously or had just recently cancelled it. There really isn't a way of undoing this. ;-$

The only neutral part of this situation is that on your credit report, it will show "consumer initiated card closing" versus "financial institution initiated card closing" which has a *lesser* negative impact on your overall score.

Try to be more careful when opening/closing cards in the future...this one will cost you...
