My 'fess up:

I checked into a hotel last month for Starwood's double stays and didn't even go see the room until I drove back by to check out.

Did that at the Westin Galleria on my way over to the Hilton Plaza in Houston weekend before last. Drove in, checked in, drove out and called 'em 'cause I forgot to check out. NEVER saw the room... I don't think the front desk even knew.

My own confession : I tried to sneak up front on an LH flight CDG-FRA. It was Jan 4,2000 and all the check-in computers were down at CDG so they handwrote out my boarding pass. Thinking I could sneak one past 'em I sat down in C... the purser ROUNDLY chewed me out, "Sir, I'm not sure what class this *IS* but I DON'T think it's business class, I'll have to ask you to take a seat in coach." That was the first and ONLY time I ever pulled that stunt.
