I called up American to get the seat assignments and request special service for my Visual Impairment(Low Vision). Spirit was the agent's name I spoke to early this morning and I confirmed again the seats later today. Within 20 minutes a nice man named Cliff calls me from American Special Services and gets my seats.

The agent earlier told me that it may take until the end of this week. But Cliff took the initiative to call me promptly and update the seats.

Now if I can see if I can get row 17 on the 767 from JFK-SFO to get the crewrest seat.
