Looking at seat maps is not a good indication of whether flights have seats for sale.
Please stop using the word standby. It is only going to confuse things. You can do Same Day Confirmed for $50 within three hours of the flight you want to take. You cannot fly standby, except possibly in IROPs, for example if your flight is delayed or cancelled.
