I was just booking a flight (fare basis IR5E6J) and was taking a look at the rules. Apart from the spelling mistake, what does this rule mean? The actual phrasing is as follows;
PASSENGER EXPENCES NOT ABSORBED BY CARRIER
The formatting is a bit funky on the screen, so it's not particularly clear if it should be read in conjunction with anything else, but here is the full text around that part;
THE TICKET IS INVALID IF FLIGHT COUPONS ARE NOT
USED IN SEQUENCE.
FARE DOES NOT APPLY FOR REFUND CALCULATION AFTER
TRAVEL AT A HIGHER FARE
PASSENGER EXPENCES NOT ABSORBED BY CARRIER
CAPACITY LIMITATIONS
THE CARRIER SHALL LIMIT THE NUMBER OF PASSENGERS CARRIED
ON ANY ONE FLIGHT AT FARES GOVERNED BY THIS RULE AND SUCH
FARES WILL NOT NECESSARILY BE AVAILABLE ON ALL FLIGHTS.
THE NUMBER OF SEATS WHICH THE CARRIER SHALL MAKE
AVAILABLE ON A GIVEN FLIGHT WILL BE DETERMINED BY THE
CARRIERS BEST JUDGMENT
LEVEL- ARE NOT SUBJECT TO CAPACITY CONTROL.
