I flew YYZ - LHR return in exec last month, and ordered the Asian vegetarian meal. On the way over, it was (I think) lentils and rice and asparagus, reasonable, looked marginally better than the pasta option. Way back it was a paneer curry with spinach and another veggie curry alongside, FAs commented it was way better than the veggie risotto they had. Starter was fish on the return but as I don't eat fish I had two different salads (very unimaginative AC, but pleasant). Assume it was something similar ex- YYZ but I ordered the 'express' option which doesn't include a starter.

Pudding and cheese was same as the rest of the cabin.

I had originally requested an asian vegetarian meal for my wife.

She does eat fish, but we typically request the asian vegetarian to make sure she gets something halfway decent in economy class.

Does anyone have experience with the asian vegetarian special meal in executive first on a TATL flight? Will she get an asian vegetarian appetizer and some special desert? What about breakfast?

In my experience there's always a fish option - sometimes a full-on vegetarian option - on the TATL executive first menu.

Thoughts? Suggestions?

Thanks
