Owing to a complicated situation that may or may not be fixed within in the next 12 months, I do not have a Russian passport.
However, I have to change my question now. The Embassy of Kazakhstan has always been very accomodating & I think they will gladly issue the double-entry visa if I give them the $60 money order. However, my question is....would they be able to put the new visa over the old visa? Or will they stamp a "cancelled" stamp on the old visa & put the new visa on another page?
I really don't want to waste any pages. I feel like crap for not seeing this coming, haha. Do you think that if I request for them to paste it over the old visa in my cover letter, they would do it?
So why keep everyone in suspense, what kind of passport are you using? I will assume a US passport.
If you did a little research, you will find you need at least one clear page for them to paste a new visa in your passport. No Country will paste a visa over the old one.

Or is that not allowed?
