Thanks for the props. Coincidentally, I was at Mitsuwa on Sunday and my girlfriend and I got a kick out of the French financier (a type of pastry sort of like a madeleine) made in a Japanese bakery.
The restaurant to which you refer, Matsushima, is closed. I saw that on
Yelp and wanted to check it out myself. There's no "for rent" sign up either so I have no idea what's up.
