First time at the 3rd Floor YYZ AMEX Lounge today where I normally will go up to the MLL on the 4th Floor. I choose AMEX today mainly because I just got my AMEX Plat Charge Card a month ago and yet use its lounge benefit at any airport. Also, I heard the AMEX has "real" hot food and I was hungry
so give it a try. It is very quiet today with < 10 people and food is good (in compare to what I will have at MLL) Then, to my surprise, I found 3 Air Canada employees in the lounge (1 x FA & 2 x pilots) - so does AC now ask their employee to the AMEX lounge instead of MLL
Just found it was a bit funny that even AC own employee rather not go to the overcrowded MLL too.
I'm not a frequent visitor to the MLLs, but I thought AC staff were instructed to NOT visit the lounges, to keep them more available for the FFs? Well, that's what my AC pilot compadre mentioned to me...but of course, he's always kidding with me, so I never know if he's yanking my chain, or being straight-faced.
