Not too late at all... i'm about halfway through my cycle ($70k) and the miles have posted like clockwork for both United and Delta the weekend after i crossed the threshold.
What i did, which has worked, was signed up for the United (or in your case the delta), and then afterwards signed up for the delta as a fund exsiting account. then make your deposits and it should post miles to both accounts concurrently (like it has for me)
Hmmm OK so what everyone is saying about waiting for all the United or AA miles to post is not true? We just sign up for both of them together at once and there will be no problems?
