Richard Massey, from Ascot, Berkshire, has been missing since December 02. Before his disappearance Richard lived and worked in New York for about 18months and took an IT job at Royal Blue in August 2002. He was apparently happy in New York and had made many friends.

Richard was last seen by one of his friends on the 19th December at his apartment, 1 West Street, New York. Richard's friend found him in a distressed state and Richard was eventually was taken to St Vincents hospital from where he was discharged at about 2.30pm. Richard is then believed to have visited another clinic close by before disappearing entirely.

Richard had a return flight to the UK booked for the 23rd December 2002 and had made many plans to meet up with friends and family over the Christmas period. His family are very concerned for his safety especially as in the days leading up to his disappearance, friends report that Richard seemed extremely agitated and intimated he felt threatened.

Richard is 6ft tall, with blue eyes and brown hair. He wears glasses.
