As to whether it knows what other countries you visited, that depends on how honest you were in filling out the form given to you on your inbound flight.
PLEASE tell me that my tax money isn't being spent on armies of keypunch people hand-entering all the data from those forms into computers. Especially if the work is outsourced. I just assumed they all ended up an a warehouse like the one in the last scene of "Raiders of the Lost Ark".
