As I said earlier many staff are unable to get into work because they are also stranded because of the weather. This is true of every company working at the airport, not just BA.

I nearly crashed 5 times last night getting home from work and my journey took almost 2 hours instead of the normal 20 minutes. It was touch and go whether I'd have to abandon my car and walk a number of miles. Thankfully I just made it, despite being very scared when the car continually skid all over the road. But we are at the mercy of the weather in the same way as everybody else, sadly.

The majority of staff are not ticket trained (though would like to be). Please write in to BA to say you find this unacceptable.
