My BA16 from SIN was cancelled because Sat's BA15 delayed until Sun and Sun's BA15 cancelled. that would have become Tues BA16 out of SIN. So Sun BA15 cancelled probably to avoid major issues with all those Pax in hotels around LHR from the SAT BA15.
Fortunately we are able to wait for the BA12 from SIN on Friday for our return home. Good job we had fully flex tkts for our Silk Air flight from HKT to SIN.
