HELP!

I have got a major problem with my Amex Cards - I have a personal BA Premium Plus card - points getting credited to my BA Exec account - no problems there - the BA Amex is registered to me personally at my home address - and my BA Exec account is registered at my home address.

I added a BA Amex Corporate Plus card recently - having been told I would earn 1.5 miles per £ spent and 3 per £ spent on BA..........

So I've been spending on the corporate card quite happily - but have not been seeing any Avios point credited to my BA account???? I called Amex - and they said "ah......your BA account has been rejected - because you BA Amex corporate card is registered to your company address (as you'd expect) - and your BA Exec card is registered to your home address - they both need to be the same - so you need to call BA and change the address of your BA Exec account to your work address)

Ok so aside from being annoyed that no one had told me this - I called BA and asked if they could do that - short answer is "well yes theoretically we can - but your household account will automatically dissolve and you kids accounts will be closed....as you have to live at a "house" to benefit from a household account"

(my kids are about to make silver so I don't want o wind up the whole account - plus lose 500k of family miles)

Arghh...spoke to Amex again (twice) but just got the stock -"change your address" response - they don't even know, or understand what a household account is - nor do they care.....

So when BA are pushing heavily the premium personal account and the BA corporate Amex they don't tell you that it's nigh on impossible to have the two working together seamlessly - unless you either have all your accouts registered to a work address AND you don't have a household account!!!

Surely I'm not the only person who has come up against this? Surely there must be a way around it????

Anyone got any bright ideas???

Thanks!!
