No-show fees do not apply as long as check-in has not closed for the flight in question.
Unless, like me you get charged one for a cancellation I did about 3 hours from departure time in Lagos last March - I then rebooked on another flight about 10 days later. Cost me Aed200 "no show fee"as well as a change fee.
