No tier or Avios on Qantas economy E class domestic fares
Booked a series of Qantas domestic flights on the Qantas website for an upcoming trip and they booked into the E class economy fare bucket. There is no way of knowing this until the booking is complete. The booking shows up in my Exec Club profile as a premium economy booking because the E fare bucket on BA is WT+ but at zero avios and tier points. Qantas say it is a BA problem, BA Exec Club say there is nothing they can do because Qantas use the same letter E for a different class of travel and the BA system doesn't recognise it. Everyone agrees it's a system problem but no one seems to want to fix it. Any suggestions?
