Yes, I'm a big fan of TG for all the reasons you mention. But I'll also call out when something is unacceptable. Like that breakfast in C. Or the recent flurry of 747 All Series flights at SYD alongside very misleading product information / timetable.
Thai First is ok - but biz class annoys me these days. The seats are mediocre and I can't sleep. And the food is only so-so. If I have to fly regional then SQ wins hands-down for their angled beds - pretty much don't notice any difference between those and some of the full flats of their competitors. That plus far superior lounges and food and beverage.
