I just booked DEL-AMM-ORD, 85k Avios in RJ Crown Class (J award, two-cabin plane), $0 YQ and $88 in total fees.
However, my ORD-AMM (60k Avios) and AMM-DEL (25k Avios) separate awards each had YQ (total of $260 combined). I don't know of any workaround or method to book this as a traditional ORD-DEL R/T with a AMM stopover and no YQ. It's three separate awards.
In all of my searching for awards to India, I could only get BA via LHR (with massive YQ and other fees) and RJ via AMM (with no fees at all unless you stop in Jordan) to show up. There's probably a way to price out the segments separately to go TPAC but I'm guessing it would end up costing a lot more Avios.
