Does anybody have any experience with the evoucher-miles conversion rate if you're given an option?
IMHO, vouchers should be commensurate to the miles offered in this type of situation. If not, then go w/ the miles. However, w/ AA in BK, you may want to also consider that. Do you fly AA regularly enough to want miles over voucher? Conversely, a voucher is good for future travel (and is tax-free) on AA. Will you use it toward that end within the year? All things to think about before you choose.

In short, it is a YMMV situation.
