Is It a Good Idea to Rent a Car In Vegas?

I will be in Vegas staying at the Paris (wow, what a rate did I get for the 5 night, but that is a different story) I used to go there and drive from where I grew up in Beverly Hills to Vegas and drive. We really used the car in Vegas to drag the strip but now that I am just a little older, I am going to be there for 5 days and I would still like to drive around. They have not move Everything to the Strip near Paris, Harrods, Caesars. etc. have they? I mean it is still worth it renting a car or is it just more of a headache now?

If anybody is pro renting a car, I just checked out the Delta rental car webpage they used to have such good deals but it started at $26.99/day with 200 SkyMiles/day and I put in some code that I thought would make the price better and it doubled the price from $26.99/day to $56.99/day for the smallest car.

Is it worth getting a car? I think parking is still good for parking cars at the hotels, but anybody's suggestion on renting a car opposed to walking or just staying around the Paris, Harrods, Bellagio, etc.?

If anybody is pro renting a car for 5 days, does anybody know any good deals for Delta SkyMiles or Hilton HHonors credit card? I just saw that Hilton has a rental car benefit but I have never rented a card using my Hilton HHonors credit card.

Any suggestions?

Thanks
