Anyone have a more recent experience at this property? The early posts here are pretty negative.

I have to be in Tulsa for three nights and am trying to figure out if I should stay at the Aloft, or more downtown. My wife will be traveling with me, so it'd be nice if we could find a few diversions (shops, decent local eats, etc.). What's the area around the hotel like? I'm not very familiar with Tulsa.
