From what I have gathered, the mobile recycling firm processes all phones - and sends points to Clubcard. Clubcard then check to see if the account has had 5 phones in 12 months. If it has had the 5 phones, your points get "held in reserve" until the 12 month period is over - after which Clubcard "releases" the points into your account.

Of course, if anyone has contrary experience to this I would be interested to know as I could do with 2 extra phones for next quarter to top off a BAEC.
