It seems to be taking about a week to 10 days under the new system to update the BA.com screen to a shiny gold colour. However, as before then , it does clearly show that you are gold, it should not be an issue.

When it does update, your year will not have reset so it will now be showing how far you are from a gold upgrade from two voucher
