I rent from the Hertz location at the airport in Albany, GA every week. This week I got a Toyota Corolla with 38K miles. I was a little surprised as normally the cars have less than 10K miles on them. Depending on who is working when I get there on Sunday nights, they normally give me a free upgrade. It's probably because the line for Hertz is normally me and one or two other people and the line for Avis is usually 10 deep.

The past few weeks they have been slacking though as three weeks ago they charged me for an extra day. Then last week they had to give me a jeep liberty I think it was because they didn't have any compact cars. That thing stunk and wasn't cleaned so I let them know when I returned it. When I got there last Sunday the lady tells me that the car isn't full. I really didn't think anything about it as I've gotten cars before that weren't full. I leave the parking lot and get going down the road. I then look at the gas gage and it's sitting just above empty. Luckily these cars get 30-40 mpg so I wasn't to worried about. I've been renting there every week since September and I'm starting to think I might try Budget, Enterprise, or Avis.
