It's been a long time since we had to check bags on United, and when we did it was at the old Terminal B. Are there alternatives to checking in at the counter, such as kiosks or Skycaps? If Skycaps are available, anybody know when they start in the morning? We'll be arriving before 6:00 AM. (I'll be checking in on line during the prior day.)

Although I don't use them, the Skycaps should be out before 6 am as there are quite a few UA flights between 5:50 am and 7am. On the Terminal B side it was always fairly busy by 5:30 am. I normally at the security checkpoint on the Terminal A side by 5:15 am so I am not sure what it is like after that.
