One more view (was there last summer).
Pros: It's pretty, and very cool to walk around, since there are lots of little nooks and interesting vistas. The complex plays some very interesting games with perspective (things that look big and far and actually little and close, for example). It's clearly one man's labor of love. Quirky doesn't being to describe it.
Cons: It's not cheap (about L12 per person, if I recall correctly), and there's really not that much to see (we spent two hours, and that was plenty), since the place isn't that big. I certainly wouldn't go there to shop, just gift shops, basically. Also, it's vaguely eerie, think so extremely cheery-looking that it's disconcerting.
I'm glad we stopped there for two hours, am also glad we didn't go out of our way to see it.
