Well, the status miles only have any real value if youŽd otherwise miss a particular status threshold, for instance, if you had all your trips booked for this year and knew youŽd be earning 49000 status miles and had no plans to take any other personal trips, choosing the 1500 status miles would be a good idea.

The way it sounds your travel plans are pretty uncertain, so the odds that theyŽd be of any use arenŽt that huge.
