Awoke early this morning to news that our booking at Kapama (near Hoedspruit) was cancelled due to severe flooding that washed out our camp and that they wouldn't reopen until August.
To the best of my knowledge, only one of Kapama's camps was evacuated and closed. The others remained open.
The lodges most affected were the ones built on riverbanks, such as Mala Mala.
