I think it is safe to say that DBG was asking to be added on a platinum account. He or she says they have "NO" credit history so I assume that he or she is very young. American Express gives out their "charge" cards quite easily compared to their credit cards so with just a bit of work and time, the OP should be able to acquire the card. I would suggest he or she would do well to read up on building up a solid credit score.
