I always find it funny when people say they feel rude pressing the call button, because I feel rude wandering into the galley as I feel I am invading the crew’s space, most likely when they are either in the middle of doing something related to the service or having a break (I am not going to get into the debate about the balance of time spent on those two things ).

By pressing the bell, I am at least giving them the chance to respond when they are ready, and I don’t expect to see them instantly, I can wait a few minutes for more booze!
