My biggest FT related sin this year was spending nearly $2000 at a Doubletree Hotel this year without any elite bonuses (I'm a mere Blue cardholder). I'm told if I cross my eyes in the correct way, I could get a status comp at Hilton. (I'm elite in Starwood and Marriott).

I did get a 500 point bonus for booking online!
