I had a US$ 500 ticket SAN-DEN-ASE and back and only used the DEN-ASE part - I could have taken a limousine for that money.
(I begged for not having to take the SAN-DEN part and even gotten the agent to waive Ticket change and standbyfees and prefered a ride with car and Greyhound over the second part)
