Rcvd platinum via some online promo sign-up for free in late 2010 I want to say. Signed up for PC Club Visa and received it + 80k points in mid-July of 2011.

Presently have 83,334 points in my account and I want to know will I be platinum through 2012 or only until July of 2012? How does this work?


I want the Crowne Plaza in NYC to give me free wifi (20/day they want), breakfast, access to the gym, and I think that may have been it although there could be one more.


I am going to e-mail ahead and see just what the hotel can do, but wanted to know if I will have this platinum status as leverage (I know it means so little with IHG, but ya never know).
