According to flightstats, one BA flight today is estimated to arrive LHR at 3:30am!
However, these jetstreams have not benefited flights from North America to Hong Kong, even though these flights are also West-bound. Anyone know why?
Wow, and with curferw airports like FRA and LHR, no wonder they are delaying. Its not so much convenience to passengers as they still arrive ontime/early. Just more time at airport/on ground before hand I guess.
I think North American flights, if going Westbound, take a more Northerly route than European bound flights. So thats is proably why they arent having the effects of the strong jetstream.
I was on a HKG-YYZ flight in September that was only 13h30 mins, we arrived over 1 hour early, that was nice!
