I will be traveling on AA form JFK to PVG via LAX, then stay for 46 hours before my PVG-HKG-BKK on KA/CX. On AA website, it does not mention anything about TWOV. Just wondering if anyone have any experience with AA check-in agent in similar situation and what's your experience? In addition to onward ticket, what other documents do you bring to convince the AA check-in agent to allow you to board?
Most AA agents know the drill (AA has been flying to China for ~5 years now), but you might want to grab a printout from TIMATIC (delta.com is a good source for this).
