1P seats moved without notice recently

Twice in the past month my confirmed seat in E+ has been changed without notice. Once from a window to an aisle, which didn't bother me too much, but now I've been moved to a center E+ seat. There was no equipment change, just a flight number change.

I've never had a seat changed in the past 10 years I've been flying United for work. Now its happened twice in one month. Anyone else experience this? Perhaps a systems merger problem?

The flight I got dumped into the middle seat was a CO ticket on UA metal. I also recently got a One Pass number and linked my accounts. (Today I was recognized as Platinum - woo) Maybe that messed up the systems.

I had to call twice to get a resolution, as other than a "Sorry, no idea why it happened" they had no solution for my inconvenience. I needed to request a rebook (sans change fees) to get satisfaction. To the new UA's credit, I got re-booked on my, more expensive, and preferred itinerary - with tons of E+ seating.

I dislike the new United call center. Calling the Premier Executive line, my number is no longer recognized, and I've experienced much longer wait times. The on hold advertising is especially grating. Does Smisek think that actually works to sell anything?
