Using e-gate
Upon receipt of your boarding card, simply approach the electronic gate and place your Skywards Gold/Silver card on the reader, located on the right side of the turnstile. When the first door closes, place your index finger on the finger print reader and proceed to your boarding gate.
They didn't charge me this government fee. Also, they had me scan my left and right thumb, not index finger, so no way will my index finger work to enter.
