So having a 3rd party reservation includes all taxes? Or do they charge that at checkout? I know they don't earn points but I have booked through Expedia for air travel and got points so possibly there may be points.
All taxes are usually included in your 3rd party booking.
You should not expect points on any 3rd party booking. It's in the T&C of hhonors.
Even if you get your hhonors number attached points will not be earned.
