Are we talking scheduled or charter? I know Casino Express used to operate a 737-200 into Ely on behalf of one of the local casinos. United may have used a 737-200 on the route for awhile as well. Last I noticed though, they were using a wet leased Frontier Convair 580 for that service (SLC-ELY-ELKO-RNO-SFO) back in the 1970s.
Correct! United did use a B737-200 on this route prior to switching to the Convair 580.
And if you go way back to the very old days, I believe UA flew this route with a DC-6.
