I went ahead and updated the credit card info to get the expedited check in.

It seems like Hilton makes the process easier. I will use the expedited checkout and leave the key in the room or at the front desk.

So having a 3rd party reservation includes all taxes? Or do they charge that at checkout? I know they don't earn points but I have booked through Expedia for air travel and got points so possibly there may be points.
