I am through the airport quite often, and also volunteer at the USO. I've never seen anyone asked to remove their service ribbons, but my son (Navy) had an issue with his shirt stays setting off the nude-o-scope. The female version of the uniform doesn't appear to have tucked shirts, so that shouldnt be an issue for you.

Honestly I'd take the patdown if it came to that over wearing multiple layers of uniform shirt
