Marriott International has released plans to open the first new hotel under the AC Hotels by Marriott portfolio in France early next year.
Rebranding the current Elysee Palace Hotel in Nice, AC Hotel Nice is expected to open its doors by early 2013 and will operate under a management agreement with SNC Hoche Promotion.
An online statement from Marriott read that the hotel would house up to 143 guestrooms and will include an outdoor swimming, a restaurant with panoramic views of Nice as well as become one of the most stylish hotels in the region.
“We are thrilled to announce the expansion of our AC Hotels by Marriott brand in to France,” Marriott International in Europe president Amy McPherson said....

If memory serves, this used to be the former 4 Points by Sheraton along the Riviera.
It should be clear to many that Marriott is making/has made a big push along the Riviera.
This hotel will join the existing Marriott near Monte Carlo and the JW in Cannes and the soon to open Renaissance in Juan les Pins!
