I am looking at a Luxury rental using an EC free day. I noticed they have a "Luxury Car Rental Policy" that says:
Requirements for renters with no proof of airline arrival:
Verifiable home phone
Verifiable home address (such as on a utility bill)
Major credit card in renter's name presented at time of rental (No cash deposits allowed)
Proof of insurance
No additional drivers
In practice, does National actually require this documentation? Also, I don't have a home phone (it is 2012, I just have a cell phone

) does anyone think this will be a problem based on their experiences?
