I never go to the Post Office for my passport. I don't like dealing with multiple layers. If I ever could be without my passport for more than 2 weeks (not likely), I would send directly to the Passport Agency. As it is, I just go in.

You Canucks have WAY too many rules about passport photos. The no smile thing is especially lame. Passport photos is one place where the US seems to be better behaved that other countries. No problem with smiles.
